Forklift
The Certificate of Basic Training covers theoretical and practical training enables trainees to operate the truck in a safe and correct fashion in accordance with current legislation, regulation & codes of practice. On completion of course, trainees will also be able to carry out routine inspections of the truck and understand the causes of load and truck instability.
Other courses available include: Pivot steer, Rough terrain, Telescopic handler, Lorry loader (HIAB), Sideloader, Overhead gantry crane, Scissor lift (MEWP), Cherry picker (MEWP) and Narrow aisle (Man up/Man down) - more details via contact form.
Driver CPC
The Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is for drivers of passenger carrying vehicles (PCV) and drivers of large goods vehicles (LGV) who drive professionally throughout the UK and the rest of Europe. It is a legal requirement to complete periodic CPC training of 35 hours (5 days) every 5 years and this can take place however you choose i.e., 1 day per year or 5 days in a week.

Operator CPC
The course is suitable for any candidate wishing to enter the profession of Road Haulage Transport Management or to demonstrate competence in meeting the Operator Licensing requirements. The requirement for a CPC is contained within the Goods Vehicle (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 and it is these regulations that implement the EU Directive 74/561.
Dangerous goods by Air Awareness Level
This is a one day course designed for personnel who are involved in the shipping, receiving or procurement departments including managers and supervisors, who would benefit knowing the basic information into the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, which complies with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s (ICAO) Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air.
ADR Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road
ADR courses are required for any driver who carries hazardous materials in any vehicles. All drivers must pass module one – the Core Module, regardless of the type of vehicle they will drive or the chemicals they will carry. They must then pass either module two (tanks) or module three (packaged goods), or both if they wish. They can then choose from any combination of the classes, modules four to twelve, depending on the class of chemical they wish to carry. Training and testing is available for all modules except Module 1 and 7 – Explosives and Radioactive.
ADR Core/Packs & 7 classes (modules C,P, 2,3,4,5,6,8,9) 3.5 days instruction.
Cargo operatives (Previously Level D)
The Cargo Operative (previously Level D) course is mandatory for all staff involved in the handling or preparation of air cargo.
